North York Academy offers comprehensive high school courses designed and inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education. North York Academy graduates are awarded the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) by the Ontario Ministry of Education
5 INTAKES IN A YEAR
Our customized term system suites students’ individual needs. North York Academy has five intake periods per year. This means students can start or graduate five times each year. It also means that students can learn and graduate faster than students in regular schools, which often have only two semesters.

Express Track
North York Academy has developed a unique system allowing students to complete courses even faster. General students take two course each term; Express Track students take three. This allows competent students to move forward 50% faster.
North York Academy also provides students with the flexibility to complete a course within a short duration of time (110 hours for full credit or 55 hours for half credit course) by increasing the number of classes. Express Track courses allow students to start credit courses at any time during the school year and to complete accredited high school courses faster. Where feasible, the course can be planned and scheduled according to a student’s own schedule.
